Bar Mitzvah Bachur Donates to the Valley Eruv!
We are very proud of Elan Litenatsky for demonstrating his being a true ben Torah. One of the first mitzvos that Elan did after his recent Bar Mitzvah was to share, magnanimously, the money he received for his Bar Mitzvah for the needs of the community. Elan donated enough money to support an entire section of the eruv.

UPDATE on the VALLEY ERUV!

Eruv Checkers and other volunteers:

People have been calling and asking how much we pay our Eruv checkers. It’s an easy answer – NOTHING. I am very honored and pleased to again share that the Valley Eruv Society is 100% volunteer! It has been all volunteer since the Valley Eruv Society’s incorporation – October 1983. All of our dedicated personnel, our administrators and officers, our Rav HaMachshir Rav Eliezer Eidlitz, our weekly Eruv checkers are completely and totally volunteers. The only time the Valley Eruv has to put out money is to have actual repairs made to the Valley Eruv. Even with this thrifty policy, the Valley Eruv spends between $10,000 and $25,000 annually in city-state licensed and specially trained Eruv repair people. If you or someone you know would like to volunteer to be an Eruv checker, we will be having another training class with Rav Eidlitz in the near future. Email me via this web site to let me know your intent to volunteer for the community. Your assistance is appreciated.

Please support the Valley Eruv.
